Responsibilities

The Department of Neurology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, is seeking a Neurologist to join the Epilepsy practice. The department includes nearly 100 board-certified neurologists, offering highly skilled, state-of-the art neurological care.

The Epilepsy division is looking for a subspecialty trained epilepsy physician with a clinical and research focus. Activities and necessary skills include staffing epilepsy clinic, a 8-bed epilepsy monitoring unit, interpretation of routine and hospital-based EEG and continuous EEG Monitoring, intraoperative electrocorticography, Phase 2 epilepsy surgery evaluations including subdural and stereo-EEG evaluations with electrical brain stimulation for functional brain mapping

Qualifications

Candidates must be board-certified in Neurology and Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology. Clinical neurophysiology training must have an emphasis in EEG and included direct experience in routine and complex neurophysiology involving EEG with direct experience in the presurgical evaluation of patients with drug-resistant epilepsies.

Candidate must also be eligible for a Minnesota Medical license.
