This is a part-time position. At SEH, our Industrial Services team delivers reliable, sustainable, and timely solutions to our manufacturing clients. Youll work across industries to help clients bring new life to their facilities and ensure they integrate with the environment around them. The team focuses on projects ranging from equipment integration, brownfield factory upgrades, utility system improvements, and feasibility planning for future investments. SEH, thats who. ” Civil Engineering Technician “Having the feeling that my voice matters and believing that SEH truly cares about the employees is so satisfying!” Sr Financial Analyst “It feels good having colleagues and supervisors that provide support and resources for growth and learning!” Civil Engineer “This is the first company Ive worked for with a true entrepreneurial spirit.” Sr Mechanical Engineer Why youll love SEH: Collaborate on amazing projects of varying size and complexity that positively impact communities Being 100% employee-owned means we all share in the companys success Career development through continued education, licensure/certification, skills, and technical training Work arrangements that promote work/life balance Flexible holidays enable individuals to tailor their festivities Paid Family Leave provides time to care for loved ones, whether family by birth or family by choice This Opportunity: Leading design on process and utility systems for a variety of industrial clients, with emphases on integrating process equipment and developing and designing sustainability solutions Developing design concepts and providing recommendations for improvements to plant utility systems that reduce environmental impact, improve regulatory compliance, and modernize aging plant infrastructure Managing small to medium size multi-disciplinary design projects from concept design through construction and commissioning, with a development opportunity for large capital project management Coordinating in a 3D virtual design environment utilizing laser scans and Revit models, and periodically creating and updating Revit models and prints as needed to meet project schedules and resource constraints Collaborating with clients, vendors, regulators, and colleagues to drive projects to completion Essential Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering Experience designing in the food processing, pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, ethanol, or petrochemical industries Experience leading teams, projects, or initiatives within your organization Proficient in process and utility design codes, standards, specification requirements Ability to travel up to 10% for site visits, client consultations, field surveys, construction observation, etc. Preferred Qualifications: Acumen for interpersonal relationships and collaboration A passion for sustainability and energy projects Experience working in a manufacturing or processing plant Experience with industrial utility and energy systems and equipment such as boilers, chillers, HVAC, air compressors, dust collection, water supply, astewater, and power generation Previous project management experience Strong background in 3D modeling in Revit and virtual design Who We Are Better Places. Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $40 and $48 per hour based on skill set and experience.
