Ranch Hand

Need 2 full time, temporary, seasonal Ranch Hands to work in Warren, MN. From: 12/15/2024 to 03/31/2025 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon.- Fri. 8 hrs./day, Sat. 8hrs./day. 7:30am – 5:00pm As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. Must apply by: 02/07/2025 JOB DUTIES: All ranch work pertaining to cattle care through the winter. Bring cattle in from the field, examine, vaccinate, care for and feed. Keep records, mend fences and maintain all cattle structures until their return to the fields in Spring. No fear of working with livestock essential. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 3 months experience; Must be able to lift 100 lbs; Exposure to extreme temperatures; Extensive pushing or pulling; Repetitive movements; Class D Drivers License within 30 days of hire; No minimum education required. Drug screen post hire. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools, equipment and supplies provided free of charge by employer. Employer may request but not require work over 8 hours in a workday or on the workers Sabbath or Federal holidays.
