About the team (Oracle Utilities Innovation Lab)
Oracle Industries Innovation Lab (Oracle IIL) is a hands-on space that allows multiple global business units within Oracle, including Oracle Energy and Water, Construction and Engineering, Manufacturing, and Communications to inspire, collaborate, innovate, and explore new ideas with customers. Our team works on utility-related solutions in this lab. Our team works closely with product & delivery teams to bring new concepts, prototypes & ideas to life through co-innovation with our partners & customers.
We’re a small team with large, high-profile responsibilities. We are passionate about trying out new ideas, and taking on new challenges and showcasing our innovations to the industry. A major role of the Innovation Lab and our travelling labs is showing off our work to our existing and prospective clients and industry influencers.

About the role
We are seeking a dynamic manager with exceptionally strong technical & customer facing skills, allowing you to be the interface between the end customer and Oracle technology. This job is based in Deerfield, Illinois at the Innovation lab, and consists of these primary functions:
As a Product Owner , you will lead multiple innovation lab experiences projects collaborating with internal, partner and customer teams.
As a Lab Host , you will represent the Innovation Lab and showcase innovation experiences (created by you and others) to visitors in-person, and remotely. As an evangelist, you will advocate for the lab and Oracle’s broader innovation ecosystem both internally & externally including the enablement of volunteers across Oracle that take our travelling lab experiences on the road.

Responsibilities:
Lab Experience Product Owner
Work with multiple organizations, both internal & external to ensure lab experience projects are delivered on time.
Take responsibility for the maintenance and general health and stability of lab experiences (including travelling lab experiences) so they are always ready to use.
Brainstorm & prioritize lab experience projects ideas with cross functional teams.
Be the primary point of contact for lab experience project statuses and change requests.
Conduct regular meetings with team on status of completed and ongoing projects and assist with priorities, decision-making, problem solving & risk mitigation.
Oversee development processes and project tracking & reporting using Agile development tools like JIRA Confluence.
Lab Host & Evangelist
Host visits to the Chicago Lab
Coordinate with sales teams to personalize agendas
Ensure lab experiences are ready to showcase
Deliver proof-of-concept demos & presentations both in-person & remotely to utility executives & industry leaders.
Evangelize the lab both internally & externally through multiple channels such as blogs, videos, social media posts etc.
Articulate the business value of Oracle Utilities solutions and technologies, and differentiate Oracle from the competition.
Qualifications :
5 years leading complex technical / engineering programs .
Familiarity with developing or supporting software based on various technology stacks/languages such as :
Linux, Python, HTML/Java Script, Java, C#, SQL, Raspberry Pi, Arduino
4 years relevant work experience in program and project management.
3 years in a customer facing role.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Strong sense of ownership with a bias for action.
Ability to multi-task.
Provide technical leadership, Conflict resolution, Problem solving & relationship building.
Able to dive deeply into both technical details and business needs.
Ability to succeed through collaboration and working through internal and external organizations and individuals.
Strong executive speaking and presentation skills – Formal presentations, white boarding, large and small group presentations.
Enjoy creating and delivering compelling presentations, product demos, sample solutions, and discussions to drive adoption of Oracle Technology.
Demonstrable experience working with clients to achieve shared interest outcomes.
Experience educating clients about current and solution service offerings and their associated business benefits.
Experience with cross-team collaboration in identifying, conceptualizing, planning, and developing new solutions.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated, attentive to detail and committed to quality.
Ability to relocate to Deerfield, Illinois.
Ability for occasional travel with the US to support Oracle and 3rd party events.

US: Hiring Range: from $94,200 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
