MaintenanceInventory Coordinator

Responsibilities

Responsible for parts room inventory control and reconciliation of parts on a daily basis. Responsible for receiving shipments, creating and completing cycle counts of parts on hand, and organizing/storing parts and equipment. Incumbent(s) may not be required to perform all duties listed, and may be required to perform additional, position-specific tasks. Performs related duties as assigned, 10 hour shift either day or night.

– Complying with all company policies and procedures
– Following all company safety rules and regulations, recognizing hazards and taking appropriate corrective action
– Understanding and following written and oral instructions
– Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
– Individual will be required to work some weekends as part of position and holidays
– Perform Cycle Counts – follow matrix and complete a full storeroom count quarterly
– Manage parts checkout process
– Keep parts area clean and organized
– Ensure bin locations are labeled and assigned in systems
– Help technicians find needed parts
– Contact vendors for pricing
– Coordinate with other sites for parts
– Call for services
– Receive parts
– 5S – Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
– Keep locations properly labeled
– Housekeeping (trash, sweeping, etc.)
– Ability to pass forklift operations requirements testing and safely operate equipment, including stand-up and sit-down lifts

Compensation and Benefits:

– The expected compensation range for this position is between $37,000 – $58,950
– Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
– Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications

– High School diploma or equivalent, supplemented by hands-on or vocational school training,
– Three (3) years of inventory control experience, preferably in food, cosmetic or pharmaceutical industry in a manufacturing environment; or two (2) years of satisfactory work experience in a fast paced, high volume work environment as a receiving coordinator, cycle counter, material ordering, operations leader, line leader, or an equivalent combination of training and experience, and valid Drivers License and acceptable driving history
– Standard Operating Procedures for equipment operations including safety rules and regulations.
– High level of organizationalskills needed
– Strong MS Office Skills – Word, Excel
– Ability to work in an unstructured environment with the ability to make tradeoff decisions quickly
– Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
– Demonstrated ability to work in a result oriented, challenging environment
– Effective coaching, facilitation and presentation skills
– Must hold strong follow-up skills and embrace top level service environment
– Availability for day or night shift.

Physical Requirements:

– Frequent movement around parts room
– Lifting – up to 50 pounds above head height with or without an accommodation
– Must be able to maneuver safely around moving equipment and/or in congested manufacturing areas
– Must be able to wear personal protective equipment: safety glasses, ear protection, steel toed shoes, rubber gloves/boots, etc
