Work Location:This position will be based at our Sedalia, MO location.

Hours: 40 hours per week, including Saturday rotation

Job Purpose:Evaluate, authorize, or recommend approval of agricultural, commercial, real estate, or consumer loans. Advise borrowers on financial status and payment methods. Includes mortgage loan officers and agents, collection analysts, loan servicing officers, and loan underwriters.

Duties and Responsibilities:

– Analyzeapplicantsfinancialstatus,credit,andpropertyevaluationstodeterminefeasibilityofgrantingloans.
– Obtainandcompilecopiesofloanapplicantscredithistories,corporatefinancialstatements,andotherfinancial information.
– Meetwithapplicantstoobtaininformationforloanapplicationsandtoanswerquestionsabouttheprocess.
– Explaintocustomersthedifferenttypesofloansandcreditoptionsthatareavailable,aswellasthetermsof those services.
– Reviewloanagreementstoensurethattheyarecompleteandaccurateaccordingtopolicy.
– Approveloanswithinspecifiedlimits,andreferloanapplicationsoutsidethoselimitstomanagementfor approval.
– Handlecustomercomplaintsandtakeappropriateactiontoresolvethem.
– Stayabreastofnewtypesofloansandotherfinancialservicesandproductstobettermeetcustomersneeds.
– Reviewandupdatecreditandloanfiles.
– Submitapplicationstocreditanalystsforverificationandrecommendation.
– Computepaymentschedules.
– Conferwithunderwriterstoaidinresolvingmortgageapplicationproblems.
– Marketbankproductstoindividualsandfirms,promotingbankservicesthatmaymeetcustomersneeds.
– Workwithclientstoidentifytheirfinancialgoalsandtofindwaysofreachingthosegoals.
– Negotiatepaymentarrangementswithcustomerswhohavedelinquentloans.
– Analyzepotentialloanmarketsanddevelopreferralnetworkstolocateprospectsforloans.
– Preparereportstosendtocustomerswhoseaccountsaredelinquent,andforwardirreconcilableaccountsfor collector action.
– Providespecialservicessuchasinvestmentbankingforclientswithmorespecializedneeds.
– Arrangeformaintenanceandliquidationofdelinquentproperties.
– Petitioncourtstotransfertitlesanddeedsofcollateraltobanks.
– Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

– BachelorsdegreeinEconomics,Financeora related fieldisusefulbutnotrequired.
– Fiveyearssalesexperienceinlendingorbanking.
– Excellentverbalandwrittencommunicationskills,includingabilitytoeffectivelycommunicatewithinternaland external customers.
– Proficiency(MSOffice-Word,ExcelandOutlook).
– Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
– Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

Physical Requirements:

– Manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and open filing cabinets.
– Bending, stooping or standing as necessary.
– AbilitytosafelyandsuccessfullyperformtheessentialjobfunctionsconsistentwiththeADA,FMLAandother federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
– Abilitytomaintainregular,punctualattendanceconsistentwiththeADA,FMLAandotherfederal,stateand local standards.
– Must be able to communicate effectively with others.
