Thoroughly prepare and process all types of consumer, commercial and real estate loans quickly and accurately without assistance. This position excels at loan processing, lending compliance and follow-up responsibilities associated with the documentation required in granting credit to borrowers. Incumbents are expected to operate competently in this area, must be detailed oriented, organized, proactive and possess a high level of ability in multitasking, prioritizing and communication skills to ensure accurate and timely loan closings while remaining courteous and professional with customers. Proficiency in all of these skills within twelve months is required.

The primary focus of this role will be onMortgage Loanprocessing through the use of “Encompass” loan origination software.

OUTCOMES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)

If not listed separately, responsibilities include consumer, commercial, and real estate loans.

– Accurately and proficiently use the loan programs and documentation software needed to prepare all loan documents, modifications and change in term requests without assistance.
– Retain and apply a thorough knowledge of loan documentation, when certain documents apply, and the different types of real estate programs and lenders available.
– Thoroughly know and apply all compliance regulations needed in order to accurately process all loans, modifications and change in term requests.
– Efficiently order and track the receipt of documents needed for new consumer and commercial loans, including, but not limited to: UCCs, titles, CDs, savings, and any other documentation as needed.
– Efficiently order and track real estate appraisals, title work, flood certificates, verifications, homeowners insurance and any other documentation as needed in order to facilitate timely loan closings for all real estate and commercial loans.
– Keep an up-to-date pipeline and organized files. Effectively balance, prioritize and manage a large pipeline and process a variety of files and lenders at one time.
– Ensure the policies and underwriting requirements for all loans are followed and assist loan officers in gathering and analyzing data required to make prompt and effective loan decisions. Recognize and document loan policy exceptions, and ensure they are properly approved and accurately tracked.
– Clear secondary market conditions, assess credit reports, interpret income data and documentation, calculate and interpret debt-to-income and loan-to-value ratios and evaluate loan applications against PCB Loan Policy to assist loan officers with timely, accurate loan decisions.
– Work with and communicate effectively and professionally with fellow teammates, real estate agents, title companies, underwriters, insurance agents, lenders, buyers and sellers to facilitate timely, accurate execution of all real estate loan documents.
– Interpret title work to determine actions required to ensure PCB will have a clear lien and clear the most common title exceptions quickly and accurately without assistance. Review appraisals to determine accuracy and compliance with PCBs LTV Loan Policy
– Maintain a thorough knowledge of insurance requirements for all loans, including the regulation requirements and procedures for setting up escrow.
– Accurately and efficiently prepare and balance the disbursement of loan proceeds and payoff of liens. Prepare and ensure proper recording of liens for all types of loans.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

– Must have knowledge and proficiency with Encompass loan origination software.
– High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
– Two to three years related banking experience and/or training.
– Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

– Ability to learn new tools, software, and equipment at a fast pace.
