Water Treatment Operator

Work Site:

Location: Fully on-site in Kent, Washington

Compensation:

Pay: $21/hr, with potential for higher pay based on previous wastewater experience.

Shift Differential: Additional $1.00/hr for 3rd shift, $0.50/hr for 2nd shift.

Shift Details:

2nd Shift: 3:00pm – 11:30pm

12/Day Work Cycle: Machines run for 12 days straight followed by 2 days off. Candidates must be willing to work 12 consecutive days with 2 days off. Initial training will be on the day shift 1-2 weeks before transitioning to the assigned shift .

Responsibilities :

Mix Water/Oil Solutions: Perform basic math and fraction calculations to mix water and oil for mechanics to use in machine repairs.

Lift and Load: Be prepared to lift up to 50 lbs, assisting with loading and unloading tasks.

Assist Mechanics: Engage in hands-on dirty work, supporting mechanics and learning valuable skills on the job.

Machine Operation: Ensure the smooth operation of large machines and heavy tools in a manufacturing environment.

Skills & Experience:

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of experience working with large machines or operating heavy tools in a manufacturing environment.

Education: High School Diploma preferred.

Mechanically Inclined: Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with machine operation.

Safety Oriented: Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Environment:

Large wire fence manufacturing facility. The air can have a funky, stinky odor due to galvanized wire processes. This is not toxic, and the chemical team ensures

air quality and safety. The facility can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter.

Work Environment:

Work involves exposure to machinery and production products such as chips, popcorn, and other goods.

The facility and machinery are cleaned every Friday.

The night shift dedicates the last half of Friday to sanitation and cleaning before closing.

Additional Information:

PPE Provided: Ear plugs, eye protection, gloves, hard hats. Respirators are optional and required in one department.
