Job Description
Performance Contracting is seeking motivated individuals to join our growing employee-owned organization as an Associate Project Engineer for its Seattle 552 operations based in Woodinville, WA.
The Associate Project Engineer role serves as a launching pad for future leaders within PCI. Its a dynamic position offering hands-on experience in project management and estimating, setting the stage for professional growth and career advancement in an innovative environment.
Job responsibilities include:
Conduct safety meetings
Create and manage punch lists
Support the Quality Control Measures outlined in the QA/QC program
Prepare RFIs and submittals
Labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance
Quantitative takeoffs for material ordering
Support the implementation of the job schedule
Coordinate warranties and O&Ms
Material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing
Salary range: $$81,700 annual salary plus non-guaranteed annualized bonus program.
This position is safety-sensitive.
Requirements
Basic Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering or Construction Science, or comparable work experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
A clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawings
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught
Customer service skills, such as able to work with customers and build strong relationships
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask
Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and a willingness to take initiative
Works well under pressure and deadline
Preferred Requirements:
OSHA Certification
Experience with commercial markets, drywall, metal stud framing
Willing to travel/relocate based on project needs
