UROGYNECOLOGIST – FEMALE PELVIC MEDICINE AND RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY SPECIALIST:
Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (https://www.vmfh.org/) , a part of the Pacific Northwest Division of CommonSpirit, is actively seeking a highly motivated and skilled Board Certified or Board Eligible Ob/Gyn or Urologist with specialized fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery to join our esteemed team in Tacoma, WA, on the campus of St. Joseph Medical Center. This position represents a replacement role and offers a unique opportunity to become a valued partner in an established and busy practice alongside an experienced partner. The practice will have an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) who assists in the non-surgical management of our patients.
Position Overview:
As a Urogynecologist specializing in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, you will be responsible for providing clinical services related to the evaluation and treatment of female pelvic floor disorders. Your expertise will be integral in our internal network of referring PCP and Ob Gyns, contributing to our commitment to exceptional healthcare in the region. We are seeking an ideal candidate with a particular focus and experience in areas such as minimally invasive surgery, endometriosis, pelvic pain, and the evaluation and treatment of female incontinence and pelvic support problems.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat female pelvic floor disorders.
Perform surgical and minimally invasive procedures to address pelvic health concerns.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care like Pelvic floor PT.
Opportunity to engage in clinical research and education as appropriate.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Board Eligible/Board Certified in Urogynecology/Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery
Completed fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.
Eligible for medical licensure in Washington State.
Pay Range
$170.00 – $240.74 /hour
