Transportation Supervisor

The West Seneca Central School District is currently seeking a Transportation Supervisor.

The work involves the supervision and coordination of the overall operations of the pupil transportation services for students residing in West Seneca. The ability to deal effectively with district personnel and the parents of the school system is essential to this position.

Thorough knowledge of the state education, transportation and motor vehicle law as it pertains to student transportation, bus operator training, vehicle inspection, driver qualifications and overall bus operations.

Job Qualifications

a.) Three (3) years of satisfactory experience in the operation of a vehicle requiring a Class B license, two (2) years of which must have been in a supervising or administrative capacity;

OR

b.) Three (3 years of satisfactory experience in the maintenance and repair of automobiles, trucks or buses, two (2) years of which must have been in a supervising or administrative capacity;

OR

c.) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of a) and b).

Special Requirements:

Possession of a valid New York State Class B Operators License at the time of appointment.
