Here, you will make an impact by:Strategic Direction & Planning: Consults with leadership to set and execute long-term strategic direction and operating plans, interpreting industry trends and customer requirements to define marketing plans across multiple businesses.Budget & Resource Management: Directly responsible for strategic planning, including budget management and resource allocation to meet business objectives, approving programs and budget deviations.Marketing Management: Oversees multiple marketing disciplines such as market research, product marketing, digital marketing, branding, pricing, CRM processes, and more, determining priorities and assigning resources.Supervision & Development: Provides direct supervision to managers, including performance management, development, training, and leading for change.Problem Solving & Innovation: Creates solutions for complex problems requiring ingenuity, creativity, and strong analytical skills, utilizing resources across departments to achieve desired results.Business Impact & Decision Making: Has a major impact on the organization due to the significant scope of responsibility, with decisions affecting multiple areas and locations, establishing and enforcing concepts to expand or enhance business.Communication & Leadership: Communicates with senior leaders, shares vision, demonstrates company values, provides timely information and recommendations to top executives, and negotiates on an expert level to achieve cooperation and action.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)Ten (10) years of Marketing and Sales experience a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Masters degree from an accredited institutionFifteen (15) years of Business development, Business creation, value creation in a private, public, government or military environmentStrong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and self-motivational skillsExperience working on cross-functional and international teamsProven ability to develop and exercise project plans with minimal supervisionExperience working with global teamsSix Sigma certifiedA quick learner, detail oriented, organized, strong problem-solving skills and collaboration across teams, functions and organizationsWork location:3M Center, MaplewoodTravel: May include up to 35%domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life both physically and financially. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
