About the Opportunity:

Our Global Commercial Training & Education Manager willoversee the
development and implementation of our sales training programs. This role
involves equipping our commercial team with essential knowledge and
skills, facilitating ongoing development for existing employees, and
ensuring the Life Fitness Academy programming delivers exceptional
customer experiences. The Training & Education Manager will report to
the Sr. Director, Global Revenue Operations and lead a team of three (3)
direct reports while managing the Life Fitness Academy Trainer Network.

This is a hybrid position based out of our Global HQ in Rosemont,
IL – M/F remote and T-Th are in-office collaboration days

What Youll Do:

Customer Training Strategy

– Develop strategies to enhance customer outcomes and ROI.
– Ensure sales representatives are well-versed in product features.
– Teach effective training techniques to engage customers.
– Promote a culture of continuous education for sales representatives.

Life Fitness Academy Trainer Network Management

– Recruit and evaluate members of the Global Trainer Network.
– Serve as the primary contact for trainers on product training and
support.
– Conduct field workshops and gather feedback for improvement.
– Collaborate with Marketing to promote the Life Fitness Academy
brand.

Sales Coaching and Performance Support

– Partner with sales managers to identify performance improvement
opportunities.

Sales Process and Methodology

– Implement a standardized sales process across the team.
– Continuously improve the sales process based on feedback and market
trends.

Sales Performance Measurement

– Establish KPIs to assess training program effectiveness.
– Analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement.

Content Development for Education Products

– Collaborate with the LFA Team to create product information for
customers.
– Develop training programs for Life Fitness employees and sales reps.
– Partner with Brand Management, Marketing, and Engineering for
training materials.

Training and Education Events Coordination

– Organize training events and seminars, including IHRSA and CI.
– Support annual training events for National Accounts.

Sales Training Delivery

– Conduct ongoing training sessions for sales representatives on best
practices and product updates.
– Utilize diverse training methodologies to accommodate various
learning styles.
– Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and
performance metrics.

What Were Looking For:

– 7 years of experience in the fitness industry, including sales and
management.
– 5 years in content development, instructional design, or sales
training.
– Familiarity with certification bodies like ACE and AFAA; global
experience is a plus.
– Bachelors or masters degree in a related field, such as Exercise
Science.
