Job Details:
This position is responsible for setting up and operating machinery used
for cooking while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to
Tyson policies and procedures. The Cooker operator controls the cooking
process from hydrolyzing the product to a finished product.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, some Saturday work, 2:00 PM – Production
end
Starting pay rate: $17.00/hr
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Running the Machinery that processes the meat into make meal.
Transferring of hydrolyzed meal to storage.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three
months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly

ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative
of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions
of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and
extreme heat. The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious
places; fumes or airborne particles; and risk of electrical shock. The
employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, outside
weather conditions, and vibration. The noise level in the work
environment is usually very loud.

assignment; Report injury of oneself or coworker to management; Report
job hazards immediately (correct immediately when possible) and
