Door Technician

HIRING SERVICE TECHNICIANS IN DENVER, CO
Pay: $28.00 – 33.00hr (based on experience/opportunity for advancement)
Shift: 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in door installation and repair or a similar role.
Must have experience installing and/or servicing industrial/commercial doors
Willing to train candidates who have manual door experience
Must be willing to travel to customer locations between Castle Rock and Longmont
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems related to door operations.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Job Description:
Install, service, and repair a wide range of commercial entry doors and operating systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in door systems.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure door systems are functioning properly.
Maintain detailed records of service and repair activities.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
Collaborate with other technicians and service managers to schedule and prioritize work orders.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Work Environment:
Work week is 7am-5pm but may vary outside of that due to customer request.
Usually off work by 4pm. Start times stagger from 7am to 8:30am. Must be somewhat flexible depending on demand and customer request.
On call 24/7 for a week ever few months once done with training. Rarely exceeds 10-12 hours in the week.
Emergency calls are double time with 2 hour minimum pay. If you land on a holiday it is double time with 3 hour minimum.
Field service consists of 18 leads, 9 trainees. Install has 6 field installers and 3 trainees.
Once established as a lead, you can get trainer pay for $1hr when with a trainee.
