Summary Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations, New York Field Office, Mission Support Division, located in Queens, NY. Responsibilities This position will allow you to perform a variety of general clerical duties and provide administrative support to managers and staff. This position starts at a salary of $57,594.00 (GS-07, Step 1) to $74,874.00 (GS-07, Step 10). In this position, you will strengthen the Departments ability to protect the homeland by joining a valuable team of administrative professionals. For local chapter contact information see Chapter Websites – National Treasury Employees Union – NTEU Qualifications Experience: You qualify for the GS-07 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Assisting with the development of information material and disseminating it to various target audiences Assisting with preparing budget requests Assisting with the annual physical inventory of nonexpendable property and equipment, noting discrepancies, and maintaining documentation Providing assistance with various workforce management procedures Assisting with maintaining the organizations personnel files and records NOTE: Your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet this requirement, otherwise you will be found ineligible.
