Brief Job Description
Psychologist will provide mental health assessment, crisis intervention and treatment, testing and cognitive assessments to college students. Provide supervision to doctoral interns, doctoral and masters-level practicum students. Provide mental health and wellness presentations, workshops, and training for students, faculty, and staff.
Required Qualifications
Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling psychology from an APA -accredited program, with completed post-doctoral internship. Candidate will be a licensed psychologist in New York State or license eligible within 12 months of hire date. Candidate will have skills and experience in providing time-limited psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and consultation. Candidate will have expertise in providing mental health assessments and treatment, expertise in administering testing and report writing for assessments such as the Standford-Binet, Woodcock-Johnson, Weschler Achievement tests/scales, assessments and diagnoses for disorders such as ADHD , Autism Spectrum Disorders. Candidate will have skills and experience in providing culturally informed mental health services to diverse populations.
