As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a team of 15 or more maintenance technicians who handle routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and public areas throughout the community’s 1.5 million square feet .

How you will make an impact
Responsible for supervision, hiring, training and engaging maintenance staff responsible for the overall condition and upkeep of community neighborhoods. Coordinates work flow, scheduling and drives resident satisfaction.
Monitors timely completion of assigned work (repair and preventive maintenance) by all team members, serves as a technical resource, and main support to Senior Facilities Manager.
Oversees contractors and vendors onsite work, administration of contracts, inventory management, and financial oversight of department.
Promotes a safety-first culture and ensures that safety program requirements are adhered to at all times.
Organizational and planning skills to keep the community running smoothly, you will interact with residents always working to keep Greenspring a great place to live and work
Familiar with local/state/federal regulations to maintain code compliance.
What you will need
Stationary Engineer license preferred.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in general maintenance required
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
Experience in Senior Living and/or Continuing Care environment is preferred
Valid driver’s license is required if operating Community vehicles
Ability to lift 50 pounds- over 50 pounds must use the aid of a hand truck or get assistance and move light furniture. Capacity to push and pull, climb and descend a ladder to 6/8 feet or higher
AFE Certified Professional Supervisor (CPS) certification within one year of hire.
EPA 608 Universal certification within one year of hire.
NFPA 70E certification within one year of hire.
OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Certification within 1 year of hire
Compensation: Commensurate with experience starting at $76,000 per year
