The Electrical Maintenance Technician installs, tests, repairs, and maintains electrical or electronic plant production machinery, support equipment, building, and other systems throughout the site to maintain optimum operating conditions and plant productivity. The role is expected to report to and assist with both electrical and mechanical issues.

salary: $48,880 – $86,320 per year

shift: First

work hours: 7 AM – 7 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to determine the layout

of electrical wiring and equipment.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in Industrial environment.

• Perform electrical work in accordance with local, state, and national electrical

codes and regulations.

• Use hand tools and power tools to install and connect wiring, switches, and other

electrical components.

• Test electrical systems for proper operation and safety.

• Troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs or replacements.

• Installation of switch gear, motors, transformers, etc.

• Experience with PLC, Robotics, Servo drives.

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 12 hours at one time
