Essential Job Functions
Check all loads for side guide marks and quality flagging by printers
Check all pallets for functionality, replace any that are worn or broken
Check for offset ink at the bottom of loads
Ensure load quality for cutting feed
Assist cutting operators at make ready with the use of corrugated pads for final (trip sheet) loads
Waste supervisory function: Make sure that the only waste in the aerator re-pile areas are aerator waste and damaged trip sheets from cutters.
Communicate with Shift Lead, Process Engineer or Dept. Manager when waste processes are not being followed.
Whenever necessary, aerator will assist other departments as requested to flip loads, insert or remove pallets, or just straighten loads
Follow end of shift sweep sheet instructions and maintain the master sanitation document
What you need to succeed:
GED/High School diploma required
Ability to read materials to understand and apply content, such as instruction manuals, procedure manuals or assembly manuals
