Coordinates education activities and professional development within the Department of Nursing and Hospital wide.

Effectively plans and administers the technologies and resources used for educational purposes

Ensures department stays focused on their important role in he continuum of care

Job Requirements

Minimum EducationBachelors Degree Nursing, required.Masters Degree Nursing, preferred.

Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Licensure/Certifications:Valid current Kentucky RN state licensureBasic Life Support (BLS)Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)Handle With Care- obtained within 30 days of hire
