Schneider Electric presents an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Manager in Lexington, Kentucky. Your role will involve overseeing the development and control of predictive maintenance for plant machinery, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment.

What will you do?
Manages the maintenance department to guarantee the performance of industrial equipment.
Manages the Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) to increase the reliability and availability of workstations and production lines.
Responsible for people management including: goal setting, performance management, competency development, recognition, engagement, and well being.
Responsible for developing and controlling the predictive maintenance of plant machinery, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation equipment.
What qualifications will make you successful?
Bachelors degree in engineering or related field is required, Masters degree is a plus.
Experience in the following skills in terms of Industrial automation (machinery): Hydraulic Systems, Pneumatic systems, Paint Systems, Controls Systems, Mechanical Systems, Injection Molding, and/or Air Pressure troubleshooting.
Knowledge in raw forming and sheet metal stamping
5-10 years of experience as a continuous improvement engineer on the floor with hands-on experience in troubleshooting in an automation environment, with a focus on electrical and mechanical aspects.
3 years of experience in a supervisor or leadership position involving people and process management.
Experience providing technical guidance, even though the role may not involve heavy hands-on work (e.g., guiding maintenance technicians during technical issues).
Any additional experience in programming would be advantageous.
Have knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems.
Proficiency in professional and engineering PC applications.
