Job Title: Press Setup Operator
Job Description
The Press Setup Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, breaking down, and changing all parts of the press. The operator will run presses ranging from 3,000 to 20,000 tons to form and bend metal to specifications. The role requires working from templates, work instructions, or blueprints.
– Operate brake press and laser according to specifications and safety standards.
– Perform setup of machines, including loading and unloading, emptying scrap material, and organizing the area.
– Ensure that sufficient raw materials are available.
– Measure and align materials to be used.
– Perform routine maintenance on the press brake.
– Conduct safety and quality checks.
– Communicate efficiently with Project Managers to ensure parts are produced to spec.
– Perform other related duties as assigned.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 45 Day(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Cleveland, Ohio.
Work Environment
Working on large parts, you may need to get in or on. The company operates in various industries, making parts like sculptures, expansion joints for infrastructure work, and parts for the food and beverage industry. The work environment is a weld shop/job shop setting, which can be cold in the winter and warm in the summer.
