EEG Technician II – Part Time – 1st Shift

Facility:Dayton Childrens – Main CampusDepartment:NeurologySchedule:Part timeHours:24Job Details:Under general supervision of the Neurologists and Senior Technologist provides electroneurodiagnostic testing (EEG, AEEG, EMU, and EVP) performing tests for patients of various age ranges. Tests are performed in the lab or at the patients bedside and at various off-sites which could include a non DCH facility. Interacts with other techs to ensure teamwork and provide support to other department personnel to maintain consistent and quality testing/customer service.
This position may require working days, nights and/or weekends and holidays as needed.
Department Specific Job Details:
Shift: Will include two 9 hour shifts and one 6 hour shift.
EEG Tech II for Lab and EMU as needed
Education Requirements:
High School (Required)
Certification/License Requirements:
Must be Board Eligible but does not need to have: REEGT Certification Radiological Electroencephalography Technologist – ABRET or other National registry
