Demonstrates strong communication skills, accepts delegated tasks and has the knowledge and understanding to ask questions and report patient information as indicated. Appropriately handles patient information understanding confidentiality and privacy. Complies with the safety management program designed to provide a physical environment free of hazards and to reduce the risk of injury. Is knowledgeable about and responsive to the mission of the hospital. The PCA promotes a patient and family experience oriented environment and acts as a change agent to meet the rapidly changing census and needs of all customers-both internal and external.
Department Specific Job Details:
Dayton Childrens urgent care centers are the only urgent care centers in the Dayton region that are fully staffed by board certified pediatricians, pediatric trained nurse practitioners and pediatric registered nurses. Our urgent care centers compliment your childs doctor by offering care when the doctors office typically is closed. Our staff provide treatment for minor illnesses and injuries for children from birth to 21 years of age.
3 shifts/week, M-F 11am-9pm, every 3rd weekend 9am-9pm

GED, High School (Required)
Certification/License Requirements:
CPR: Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation – American Heart Association
