Job Description:
Responsibility for Park Place in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. Directs and conducts the activities of the nursing home in accordance with established policies and federal or state guidelines. Recommends changes to improve nursing home and reviews ongoing activities. Communicates with residents to ensure quality care. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Works independently on decisions and goal setting.
Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in related field, preferred.
Advance Degree preferred.
Maintains current and active status on all required training and education as outlined by corporate policy.
Licensure
Required Iowa Board of Nursing Home Administrator’s license at time of hire, preferred.
Provisional Iowa Board of Nursing Home Administrator’s licensure acceptable, if licensed within one year of hire.
Experience
1-3 Years of direct experience in field, required; 4 years preferred.
Familiar with long term care regulations, concepts, practices, and procedures required.
Microsoft Office Suite knowledge required (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
