Job Title: Controls Technician

Job Description

As a Controls Technician, you will be part of our dynamic Industrial Controls team. Your responsibilities include providing on-site support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning of control systems and automation equipment at various sites across North America. You will be traveling up to 50% of the time, delivering top-notch systems and services to our clients. When you are not traveling, you will be troubleshooting equipment on-site and handling customer calls.

£ Travel to Client Sites: Regularly travel to client locations to commission, troubleshoot, maintain control systems and automation equipment. Travel is up to 50% annually

£ System Diagnosis: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with control systems, PLC and HMIs, and related hardware and software.

£ System Device: Ensure proper connections of components, sensors, actuators, and other devices as required for control system commissioning.

£ Technical Support: Provide technical support and training to clients personnel to ensure the proper operation, either remotely or in-person.

£ Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all service visits, equipment configurations, and changes made to control systems. Generate detailed service reports and documentation as needed.

£ Testing and Commissioning: Assist in the testing and quality checks of control systems to ensure they meet design and project specifications
