TREE TRIMMER GROUNDMAN

Yellowstone Valley Electric Cooperative is seeking a Tree Trimmer Groundman to clear right of ways for power lines by trimming trees to minimize storm and circuit hazards.
Some of the duties include but are not limited to:
– Tree chipping.
– Climb trees to reach branches interfering with poles and wires.
– Prune, and repair trees as necessary.
– Ground cleanup of all debris.
– Equipment maintenance.
– Will eventually work from a bucket of extended truck boom to reach limbs, etc.
– Follow all safety standards and Cooperative policies.
Required:
– A current valid drivers license with Class A CDL issued by the State of Montana required.
– Previous training and work experience desired.
– A six-month probationary period applies.
Hours: Full Time.
Wage: Wage is union scale.
Note: This position may eventually progress into a Lineman Apprenticeship.
