The National Applications Specialist for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for moderate to large-scale implementations and the network interfacing of complex, multi-discipline, diagnostic laboratory Automation systems and solutions.
This position is part of the National Service Support Team located in the Eastern United States and will be fully remote. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will be a part of the Automation and Informatics team and report to the Automation NSS Applications Supervisor responsible for implementation of complex automation systems. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Develop expert software and applications skills supporting high quality implementation execution of complex laboratory automation systems that create reference level customers.
Provide advanced applications and workflow troubleshooting, both on-site and via remote phone support, to customers, Field Applications and Hardware Specialists.
Utilize mentoring and training abilities to transfer vital system knowledge and operational skills to customers and front-line support personnel.
The essential requirements of the job include:
5 years in diagnostic laboratory field service with a bachelor’s degree in medical technology; or 7 years in diagnostic laboratory field service with an associate degree in medical technology.
Must be able to travel domestically at least 80% of the time (based on the need of the position) at times on short notice, working from a home-based office.
1year experience with Diagnostics Laboratory Automation and/or Informatics Applications.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Strong computer networking and Laboratory LIS troubleshooting skills.
Ability to lead, influence and collaborate across customer account and business functions.
Familiarity with Standard Laboratory Practices, including Quality Control, record keeping, and regulatory requirements.

The salary range for this role is $ 75,000-$95,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
