Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Social Worker to team up with us and foster positive transformation in the lives of elementary school students in Algonquin, Illinois. In this position, you will play a crucial part in supporting kindergarten through 5th grade students within general education, resource, and self-contained classrooms. Job Responsibilities:

Provide targeted support to identified students in the elementary setting.

Implement crisis intervention strategies to ensure student well-being and success.

Advocate for students’ holistic welfare (social, emotional, academic).

Cross-functional collaboration with teachers and families to understand how to best meet student needs.

Provide push-in and pull-out services as needed

Facilitate IEP meetings

Develop and track interventions to understand IEP effectiveness. 

Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work

PEL eligible in the state of IL

Previous experience in a PreK-5 setting preferred
