Job Description
Safety:
– Inspect production equipment and plant facilities to ensure a safe working environment.
– Perform the duties of Maintenance Mechanic in a safe manner.
Maintenance and Repairs:
– Immediately repair all production equipment as required.
– Implement and execute Preventative Maintenance Schedules.
– Perform troubleshooting, breakdown repairs, and preventative and predictive reporting of maintenance work performed.
– Complete work orders, accurate time tracking, and parts consumption reports.
Housekeeping:
– Maintain general cleanliness and tidiness of the work area(s).
Hard Skills
Around 2 years of working with a range of voltage from 480v to low voltage of 24v
Around 2 years of reading and understanding the flow of blueprints
Troubleshooting experience
Around 2 years of industrial experience with but not limited to stamping machines, brake presses and CNC machines
Around 2 years of schematic use
Knowledge of sensors, bearings, gear boxes, chains, sprockets, pneumatics, basic fasteners and applications
Experience with power tools like cut off wheels
Possess basic electrician tools like a multi-meter, electrical PPE, torque wrenches
Soft Skills
Ability to work effectively in a loud and dusty environment
Comfortable with objective and direct communication
Willingness to follow instructions from different departments
Not afraid to get clothes dirty during machine repairs
