We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year, starting ASAP through June 3rd, 2025. This is a full-time position working 35 hours per week with a caseload that includes Pre-K through 8th grade students. You will be part of a supportive team of OTs and COTAs who work collaboratively across multiple schools in the district. The position offers the opportunity to work in both co-taught and specialized programs, and you’ll receive dedicated training and shadowing time to ensure a smooth transition into your role. Position Details:

Full-time: 35 hours per week

Start Date: ASAP through June 3rd, 2025

Work Schedule: Approximately 7:50 AM – 3:15 PM (slight variations depending on the school)

Caseload: Approximately 24 students, with the potential to grow as you become familiar with the district

Responsibilities:

Provide occupational therapy services across multiple schools (all within close proximity).

Work with students in grades Pre-K through 8th in a variety of educational settings.

Collaborate with a team of OTs and COTAs to develop effective treatment plans.

Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ needs.

Implement therapeutic interventions to support students’ motor skills and overall development.

Qualifications:

Valid OT license in the state of Illinois.

Experience working in school settings and supporting students from Pre-K to 8th grade.

Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
