Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The Maintenance Mechanic position will be responsible for working with the team to perform preventative maintenance tasks. If candidates have experience along with qualifications, they could be troubleshooting and repairing equipment as needed.
Hard Skills
3 or more years of experience within an industrial maintenance role
Experience with electrical and mechanical work
Electrical knowledge including working safely with 480v and lock out tag out
Ability to work with hand and power tools
Troubleshooting corrugated equipment, finishing machines, slitter machines, and laminators
Hydraulics, pneumatic systems, low voltage applications, and mechanical work on all shop equipment and machines
Soft Skills
Ability to adhere to preventative maintenance schedules
Capability to perform emergency/unscheduled repairs
Ability to perform facilities maintenance tasks as needed (lighting, plumbing, etc.)
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Aurora, Illinois.
Work Environment
The facility is a medium-sized production shop. The role may require working in one or two buildings that are located next to each other. The job involves lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for 8 hours/day, and performing various physical activities such as walking, sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
