Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Crew Chief to join our team and oversee a two-person crew. You will be responsible for construction staking, topographic boundary, and ALTA surveys. Your duties will include conducting daily site visits, organizing and maintaining survey job files, and providing on-the-job training. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field staff to support project objectives and address any survey-related challenges. Adherence to safety protocols and procedures for survey personnel is essential.

This is a fully on-site position in Aurora, Illinois.
Work Environment
This role is primarily on-site, with 90% of the time spent in the field. You will be running a two-person crew and will have access to a company vehicle, though there may be initial instances where you need to use your own vehicle, with mileage reimbursement provided. The company is located in Aurora and has about 50 employees. You will work closely with the President and a PLS in the office, joining a survey team of 18 employees. The company specializes in high-end residential projects. Initially, the focus will be on construction staking, transitioning to more ALTA and boundary surveys through the spring.
