As an Associate Art Director in Marketing & Digital, you will report to the Senior Creative Director. In this influential role, you will develop a deep understanding of DaySpring’s brand aesthetic, and be a key collaborator within our marketing creative team.
WHAT YOUR ROLE ENTAILS AND HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE
The Associate Art Director, Marketing & Digital will blend artistic talent with leadership and strong communication skills. This role is responsible for setting visual direction and guiding the design of marketing materials across print and digital media, including DaySpring’s lifestyle photography, print publications, and digital marketing initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Digital Marketing: Participate in creative process to deliver ongoing DaySpring digital marketing needs. Influence team members, advocate for new ideas, and set high standards. Elevate brand experience across all digital channels through design and photography. Develop and maintain template/framework solutions that drive efficiency in creative process.
Print Publications: Provide art direction and design for major print publications (i.e. catalogs, magazines, flyers, ads, etc.). Set visual direction and cast vision for continually improving and elevating quality. Participate in all stages of the creative process, including concepting, content-gathering, designing, feedback, and printing. Collaborate with business partners from start to finish. Oversee internal and external designers as required by each project. Demonstrate high ownership and a commitment to forward-thinking design solutions that build brand-consistency while meeting all business objectives. Meet go-to-print deadlines as required by each project. Integrate editorial, artwork, photography and typography into seamless and cohesive design solutions that create marketplace advantage.
Photography: Work closely with Creative Director to determine photography needs in support of DaySpring business goals. Develop and present art-direction and seek feedback. Schedule and lead pre-production meetings. Build concept sheets and shot lists. Source props. Coordinate models and locations. Oversee post-production and file delivery. Maintain brand standards across library of images. Expand and innovate photography capabilities.
Communication and Leadership: Collaborate with business partners to understand and problem-solve marketing, creative, and process challenges. Keep open communication lines with all stakeholders throughout each stage of project up until completion. Cast vision and advocate for big ideas while staying rooted in budget, time and resource limitations. Demonstrate consumer-first mindset and high ownership of consumer experience across all media.
Develop, grow and perpetuate a knowledge of trends, colors and design in the digital and physical landscapes.
Collaborate and problem solve with the extended creative and marketing teams.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
The following is required to be considered for this role:
Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of professional work experience
Minimum of 3 years experience in design related field.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with photography.
Experience with digital marketing.
