Position Description:
Designs, implements and manages an assigned program. Typical duties can include but are not limited to: Identify funding opportunities, conduct program assessments, prepare program reports, oversee and manage program marketing and communications, manage program databases, supervise program staff, plan research activities, coordinate program events, participate in strategic planning, manage program files, establish program standards and objectives, direct logistical activities to promote the success of programs, develop and implement project timelines and ensures deadlines are met, oversee program budget, ensure goals and objectives of grants are met, assists in proposal writing, comply and analyze program statistics.

Major/Essential Functions:
Develop and deliver face-to-face, virtual and hybrid (both asynchronous and synchronous) training sessions and professional development workshops for academic advisors at Texas Tech University
Schedule, supervise and coordinate all advisor training sessions
Curate, organize, and distribute up-to-date information resources for academic and career advising
Create and manage promotions and marketing materials for the TTU Advising Training, Resource & Professional Development Center
Monitors industry trends in academic and career advising and provides information resources to the Texas Tech advising community
Work with Center Director and Assistant Vice Provost for Academic & Career Advising to plan, assess and evaluate center goals and objectives
Responsible for creating and implementing training content for academic and career advisors in Raider Success Hub

Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of three (3) years experience in higher education
Minimum of five (5) years of Academic or Career Advising experience
Experience in developing face-to-face, virtual and hybrid (asynchronous and synchronous) training, professional development and/or educational modules
Experience in project management and/or event planning
Knowledge of current trends in academic and career advising
Experience working with CRM such as Salesforce
Experience working with LMS such as blackboard or canvas
Demonstrated success in training and/or education programs
