The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Translate clients requirements to functional documentation; participate in technical designs and test planning.
Participate in the review, analysis and documentation of business systems and user needs.
Develop documents for IT applications, system specifications and test plans, according to existing standards and methodologies.
Design, prototype, code and test new or enhanced applications.
Support the collection, documentation and maintenance of functional requirements and modeling.
Elicit the requirements needed to carry out business processes including interviews, intelligence analysis and survey assessments.
Perform customer support processes and activities for the implementation of new or existing applications.
Participate in the planning, execution and documentation of functional testing results.
Translate business needs, processes and procedures into a workable system, and articulate specific software requirements to technology experts and business stakeholders.
Monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of application operations and troubleshoot problems, as necessary.
Assist in the development and delivery of training sessions and demos for end users.
Work closely with business architects and other technology staff to deliver project results while implementing risk analysis and meeting required deliverable.
Participate in the analysis of client needs.
Communicate client requirements in functional specifications to the development team.
Refine proposed solutions and estimate resource requirements in consultation with technology developers .
Participate in quality control and ensure the integrity of information.
Participate in solution implementation and documentation.
Train and support clients in the use of the solution.
Escalate compliance concerns.
Build wire frames, report layouts, and other artifacts to help stakeholders understand proposed solutions and refine business and functional requirements.
Document review and editing for business requirements, project planning, functional requirements, and detailed designs.
Create Unit test plan and test cases; participate and provide input to SIT and UAT test plans and test cases.
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
Experience with structured query language (SQL) and other data profiling tools and techniques preferred; experience analyzing data preferred.
Experience with scripting and/or programming knowledges preferred.
Experience with word processing and worksheet tools is required.
Understanding of the System/Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) is preferred.
Knowledge of compliance risks and risk management, including anti-money laundering and sanctions.
Experience developing business requirements to solve complex problems in consultation with business partners.
Experience writing detailed business requirements and functional requirements.
Experience with Adobe, DocuSign, or other electronic signature tools preferred.
Experience in ETL desirable.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Experience in the banking or financial industry preferred.
Experience working as a business analyst, technical analyst in software development, IT support, information security, audit, or information risk is preferred.
Experience working closely with business teams to understand requirements.
Experience working in a systematic project management delivery process.
Experience working with Finastra’s Global PayPlus (GPP), ACI’s MoneyTransferSystem (MTS) or Fiserv’s Enterprise Payments Platform (EPP) is a plus.
Knowledge in JIRA and Agile project delivery is desired.
Technical skills in Visio, Confluence, and Excel is desired.
EDUCATION
Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable.
Bachelors degree
The typical base pay range for this role is between $76k – $92k depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
