Description
The Department of Psychiatry is seeking to hire a full-time Clinic Coordinator to join our UCLA Social Justice in Criminal Neuropsychology (SJCN) Clinic. The SJCN Clinic is currently working on collaborating and developing a new program to address the urgent need for culturally responsive conservatorship assessments in Los Angeles County. You will provide coordination and administrative support. Primary duties include:
Assisting with financial and budgetary matters
Assist with grant submission and curriculum development
Coordinate the DMH on-boarding process
Coordinate Training program for OPG
Responsible for patient interviewing and encounter registration
Scheduling and confirming of patients appointments
Maintain inventory and purchase supplies
Other duties as assigned
Salary range: $29.42/hr – $42.14/hrQualifications
Knowledge of basic psychiatric terminology
Previous experience in a medical office setting
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook e-mail and basic knowledge of PC applications
Skill in performing basic arithmetic and accounting functions
Ability to work independently and exercise appropriate decisions with minimum supervision
Strong communication skills to interact with persons of various social, cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds
Experience in working as part of a team, establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with all staff members, management and the public
Skill in organizing and prioritizing assignments
