A Civil Superintendent is needed for a leading construction organization in the Burbank, CA are. The Civil Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing subcontractors and vendors, ensuring efficient construction of both landside and airside portions of a large-scale facility. You will play a key leadership role in maintaining schedules, safety, and quality control while ensuring smooth project execution from start to finish.

The ideal candidate has 10 years of experience in civil construction, with a proven track record in large-scale projects, particularly airside apron paving. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage relationships with owner representatives, architects, and subcontractors are essential for this position.

responsibilities:

Oversee subcontractors and vendors in landside paving, landscaping, utilities and airside apron paving, utilities construction

Lead the field team in monitoring schedules, safety, and quality, ensuring accountability across the board

Coordinate with the project leadership, design team, owner representatives, and stakeholders to maintain project goals

Provide leadership during project closeout, including AHJ sign-offs and punch list management

Troubleshoot field engineering issues and provide proactive solutions to avoid project delays
