Summary About the Position: This position as Program Manager, responsible for the overall management, control, coordination and execution of major programs and projects, located with the US Army Engineering District, Los Angeles, Operations Division, Management Support Branch. Responsibilities Serves as Program Manager, responsible for the overall management, control, coordination and execution of major programs and projects. Coordinates the planning, design, cost engineering, construction, and environmental considerations, etc. for programs and projects. Controls and manages program and project milestones and budgets from planning through construction and initial operations. Serves as the district’s primary point of contact for projects assigned with resource agencies, stakeholders, Federal, state and local government agencies, Congressional interests, other external organizations and higher authorities. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes managing construction programs and/or projects, leading planning development teams including resource management. Experience with Critical Infrastructure Construction or Service Contracts, Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, environmental compliance requirements for contracts, stakeholder engagement, and real estate action including easements, leases, and licenses. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone–no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
