Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst
The Senior Analyst, Business Intelligence is pivotal in transforming complex data into actionable insights that influence both strategic and operational decisions across the organization. This role demands superior analytical skills, adeptness in collaborative efforts across various departments, and an advanced proficiency in data manipulation and visualization technologies. The Senior Analyst will lead initiatives to improve processes, develop critical KPIs, and contribute to the overall enhancement of the business intelligence landscape.
Essential Functions
Data Process Enhancement: Lead initiatives to optimize the transformation of raw data into actionable insights, streamlining data handling and processing to support strategic decisions.
SQL Scripting and Dataset Design: Develop effective SQL scripts and robust datasets, utilizing advanced SQL knowledge to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with departments such as Planning, Customer Service, Logistics, Procurement, and Manufacturing to customize data solutions that boost operational efficiency.
Data Cleansing and Validation: Partner with IT to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data through rigorous cleansing and validation processes.
KPI Development and Ad-Hoc Analytics: Innovate and formulate new key performance indicators and undertake special analytics projects to address urgent business challenges.
Communication of Insights: Translate complex data findings into understandable and actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, using storytelling to influence decision-making. Needs to have curiosity to learn and master stakeholders domain expertise
Continuous Process Improvement: Drive enhancements in BI processes and methodologies, improving the speed and quality of data insights.
Decision-Making Enhancement: Enhance the organizations capacity to make informed, data-driven decisions that propel business growth.
Strategic BI Initiatives: Align BI operations with strategic business objectives, promoting continuous innovation within the BI department.
Innovation and Improvement: Foster a culture of innovation, continuously seeking new methods to enhance the impact and efficiency of data analysis.
Report Accuracy and Relevance: Maintain the highest standards of accuracy and relevance in all BI reports and dashboards.
Insight Effectiveness: Measure the impact of BI insights on decision quality and business outcomes.
Stakeholder Satisfaction: Achieve and maintain high levels of stakeholder satisfaction by delivering robust, user-friendly BI solutions.
Business Impact: Directly contribute to improved business performance through actionable insights that enhance efficiency and competitiveness.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
4 Years – Experience in in business intelligence or data analytics, with a demonstrated track record in leading data-driven projects
Advanced proficiency in BI tools, SQL, and data visualization, with a solid foundation in data manipulation
Preferred Qualifications:
6 Years – Experience in in business intelligence or data analytics, with a demonstrated track record in leading data-driven projects

Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and data analytics libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and TensorFlow.

Change Management: Skilled in managing change initiatives smoothly, building commitment, and effectively addressing resistance.
Strategic Alignment and Decision Support: Ensure BI activities align with broader organizational strategies, providing essential support for strategic decision-making.

Education
Minimum Required:
Bachelors Degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
Preferred:
Masters Degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
Foreign Language
Preferred: Full Professional Proficiency in Spanish

$96,309.20 – $139,648.35 / Yearly
