Position: Inventory Control Specialist

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM or 8-4:30.

Location: Santa Rosa, CA

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Santa Rosa. This position involves preparing shipments, verifying orders, storing and distributing materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and keeping meticulous records. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and ensure that all products are shipped safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.

Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Coordinate with internal departments, such as production and quality control, to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Maintain shipping logs, including tracking shipment status and updating records.

Inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies and report issues to the appropriate department.

Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock replenishment.

Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Must-Have Qualifications:

Experience with ERP software is essential, along with strong computer skills.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Dependable, reliable, and committed to the job.

The job is primarily desk-based, with occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.

Experience with both domestic and international shipping, using FedEx and UPS. Knowledge of UPS World Ship and FedEx is necessary.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
