Job Description: Project Coordinator/Drafter/Designer

The Project Coordinator is responsible for overall coordination, status reporting, financials, schedules, and stability of project-oriented work efforts, ensuring that project goals and objectives are met within agreed-upon time, scope, and resource requirements. Coordinates work performed by defining project requirements and performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. Coordinates elements of communication and change/process management related to project outcomes across the organization as appropriate.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Under general direction of project manager, provides oversight and direction to team members.

• Facilitates communication between Project Manager, service providers, and internal customers, including technical support at the direction of a project manager.

• Reviews and provides support and coordination on project-related documentation, technical memorandum, design plans, specifications, and other project-related materials; and manages specific project-related tasks as directed by the Project Manager.

• Fields customer concerns and works with appropriate parties for resolution.

• In support of PMs or Sr PMs, facilitates technical assistance to internal and external customers.

• Applies basic project management concepts and practices.

• Tracks project milestones and deliverables and reports on project and program progress as directed.

• Supports emergency response work as requested.

Qualifications:

• Two year Associate’s Degree or better in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• At least two years relevant work experience.

• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communications skills and ability to work as part of a team.

• Basic knowledge of cost estimating and scheduling concepts.

• Knowledge of methods, techniques and procedures involved in budgeting, procurement and contract administration.

• Demonstrated ability to make decisions independently, influence others and resolve issues.

• Customer-oriented, a positive, team-oriented attitude, flexibility, an understanding of the business issues driving the need for the project, and solid work ethic are expected.

This is a fully remote position (Must be local to Seattle for 20-30% travel to launch projects)
