Job Title: Quality Technician – Graveyard
Job Description
As a Quality Technician on the graveyard shift, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the sanitation and verification of fillers. Your responsibilities will include setting up samples, conducting tests, interpreting results, and reporting findings. You will also review documents, support food safety systems, and provide guidance on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). You will help ensure the production of safe, quality, and legal food products. Constructive relationships with coworkers, managers, customers, and business partners are essential. Accurate clocking in using the timeclock system and adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures, Safe Chemical Handling procedures, and GMP are mandatory. Safety is paramount, requiring appropriate safety gear and awareness of surroundings. Reporting near misses, on-the-job injuries, and safety concerns is necessary. Maintaining current GMP and notifying supervisors of potential food safety issues are part of your duties. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
