Pay: $28 – $35/hr DOE
On-site in Tacoma, Washington
Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm
Job description
The Welder/Fabricator uses welding, other tools and equipment to join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal to build boats. Position is responsible for the daily coordination of the assigned area, in addition, this position will be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, ensuring standard work is being performed, and identifying and resolving quality issues. Will work under supervision but should be able to perform some basic tasks independently. 3 Day weekends. Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.

Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments
Using processes such as gas metal arc & plasma arc
May set up and/or verify settings on production machines and equipment
Operates a variety of handheld and power-assisted tools
