Human Resources Manager
Envision Technology, an innovative small business providing advanced electro-optical solutions for defense applications, is seeking a Human Resource Manager. In this role, you are responsible for overseeing the organizations recruiting, onboarding, performance management, benefit enrollment, maintain HR systems and processes, and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for open positions, ensuring job descriptions accurately reflect the needs of the business.
– Develop and execute best practices for hiring and talent management.
– Recruit, interview, and hire new team members.
– Onboard and offboard team members.
– Create system for the retention of historical human resource records.
– Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
– Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment law and regulations, recommend best practices for the organization.
– Administer benefit programs ensuring employees are educated on benefits offered.
– Partner with leadership to understand and execute on organizational goals.
– Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
– Bachelors degree in human resources, or related field and 5 years in human resource related roles.
– Proficient in using ADP Workforce Now.
– PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP, highly desired.
– Aptitude to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
– Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
– Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
– Accurate and precise attention to detail.
– Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
