Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Heavy Civil Estimator to join our
team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in estimating for
heavy civil projects and a desire to contribute to a close-knit company
that values collaboration and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for heavy civil projects,
including grading, paving, and utility installations.

Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work
and necessary materials.

Collaborate with project managers and team members to develop
competitive bids.

Conduct site visits to gather data and assess project conditions.

Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers for
pricing and resources.

Utilize historical data to enhance estimating accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

2 years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry
standards.

Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.

Experience working with state projects is a plus.
