Construction Estimator

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Estimator to join a full-service Engineering Consulting company located in Plainville CT, Groton CT, or Providence RI. The ideal candidate will be on-site 5 days a week and hold a Bachelors in Civil Engineering or equivalent. This person should have 8 years of experience on projects. The Estimator is responsible for the accurate takeoff and pricing of the work, including all direct and indirect costs for heavy/civil/roadway/projects with values from $5 million to $200 million.

Skills and Requirements

– Knowledge of site excavation and utility construction, materials and methods.

– Experience working with subcontractors

– Experience with scheduling and planning.

– Construction project experience, roadways, culvert, bridge, highways. – HCSS Heavy Bid experience

– DOT Experience null
