Applicants who are interested in this position may apply through our website at: https://g-i-l.us/career/ and search for “Systems Support Manager.”Global Interactive Logistics LLC provides freight warehousing solutions in the logistics industry.The Systems Support Manager has overall responsibility for learning and evolving into the “Super-User” for managing, configuring, integrating, reporting, invoicing, and supporting the WMS (Warehouse Management System) and TMS (Transportation Management System) solutions.Role Accountabilities: Serve as the lead primary system expert for onboarding and configuring new clients in WMS and integration transactions using Boomi. Serve as the primary support for the WMS, TMS, and its connected subsystems, and work with business partners to continuously improve warehouse/transportation processes and systems. Partner with WMS, TMS, and integration software providers to form solid, influential, and long-lasting relationships. Perform design tasks and identify system requirements in support of system changes. Perform hands-on configuration tasks to support business demands and technical changes. Develop test plans and coordinate testing activities in support of system changes. Act as the IT liaison for the testing and deployment of system changes. Assist with the development of reporting using WMS and TMS reporting frameworks. Partner with businesses and vendors to quickly resolve production issues. Prepare and present root cause analysis and issue elimination strategies. Work with operations to develop integration opportunities to maximize efficiencies and reduce costs. Evolve into the IT Subject Matter Expert for the WMS, TMS, and its sub-systems. Identify and analyze WMS and TMS interfaces to ensure data accuracy and sufficient system/process support. Understand business configurations and processes, and use advanced knowledge of the application and industry best practices for improvement and troubleshooting. Provide appropriate training and share knowledge as needed. Maintain action lists and issue logs. Ensure appropriate and urgent responses to issues. Report project status to the director of operations as necessary. Perform other duties as required.Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Engineering Technologies, or related field or foreign equivalent degree. Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS > High Jump), XML, Excel, and SQL.
