The Mortgage Branch Manager will build and manage external mortgage sales team. Position will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, training and supporting mortgage branch managers and mortgage loan originators.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Recruit seasoned mortgage loan officers.
  • Manage all aspects of mortgage originations.
  • Manage and train external mortgage team on sales skills and development.
  • Create business opportunities through external referral sources, i.e. Realtors and builders.
  • Work closely with bank partners to drive additional business opportunities.
  • Create a sales culture that will drive top performance.
  • Manage all aspect of a financial cost center (P-L, General Ledger, etc.).
  • Manage branch pipeline and file quality by Home Loan Consultants.

Required Skills:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of recruiting external loan originators.
  • Full knowledge of mortgage loan origination systems.
  • Comprehensive experience onboarding and managing external loan originators.
  • Extensive mortgage external sales experience.
  • Experience managing a profit – loss, cost center and general ledger.
  • Strong communication skills including extensive public speaking.
Required Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED and a minimum 4 years external mortgage origination manager experience; Complies with the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (S.A.F.E. Act) requirements and registration requirements.
  • Valid Drivers license.
  • Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 10 years mortgage management experience preferred.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
